Inclusive recruitment

Creating a diverse workforce requires conscious use of recruitment and selection processes. The recruitment and selection process is often unconsciously aimed at one and the same target group. For example, words are used that only appeal to one specific target group, or recruitment channels are used that are aimed at specific target groups.

To ensure that other target groups also apply for the positions offered, adjustments are needed within HR. As an organization, you can take several steps to make the recruitment and selection process more inclusive. We distinguish three components to attract diverse talent. Namely the selection process, the different recruitment channels and employer branding.

With this training - Inclusive Recruitment - we provide concrete tools that increase the inflow of diverse talent within your organization. In this training we will work on adjusting vacancy texts, an objective job interview, and the use of diverse and inclusive images.

After partaking in this training:

  • You're aware of your own standards, values and unconscious bias.
  • You retrieve knowledge and insight of the various target groups in society (in the Netherlands).
  • Receive concrete tools that you can use in the HR field to promote diversity.
  • You are able to objectively select potential candidates.

Managers, vacancy holders, application committees, HR employees, recruiters.
